About Dr. Aparna Gullapelly
Biography
Dr. Aparna Gullapelly is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Hyderabad Institute of Technology and Management (HITAM), Hyderabad, India, with over 18 years of teaching experience. She holds a Post-Doctoral degree from Singapore Institute of Technology, Singapore (2024–2025) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from KLEF, Hyderabad (2019–2024). She has been Ratified as Assistant Professor by JNTU Hyderabad for multiple institutions. She is also a qualified TS-SET (July 2019) holder and an IUCEE International Engineering Educator (2023). Her research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Object Detection and Tracking, IoT, Cybersecurity, and AI-driven educational systems. She has authored multiple Scopus and WoS indexed international journal papers, published books, filed patents, and actively serves as a peer reviewer for reputed international publishers including Springer, CRC Press, and IGI Global.
Educational Qualifications
Post-Doc in Computer Science & Engineering (2024–2025) from Singapore Institute of Technology, Singapore. Ph.D. in CSE (2019–2024) from KLEF, Hyderabad. M.Tech in Computer Science (2010–2012) from SREC, JNTU Hyderabad with 75% aggregate. B.Tech in CSE (2004–2007) from University College of Engineering, Kakatiya University with 71% aggregate. Qualified TS-SET – July 2019.
